Yikes... I have so many supplies...but so many of them are not here with me at my apartment :( They are at my new place... ugh so hard to craft with limited supplies! But definitely makes me grateful for all the goodies I do have! But alas here is my card using some limited supplies. I took some liberties with the brand spanking new sketch at
Operation Write Home and I think it turned out pretty fun. I had intended to create a Mother's Day card to add to my outgoing OWH box...but alas all those stamps at at the other house! Oy!
Paper is from my stash...
I love this CAS card! Too cool to make part of the flower from one of the papers and that's a perfect place for the wonderful sentiment!
ReplyDeleteYou did GREAT with limited supplies....this is great if you had all your supplies! Very pretty, cheerful colors!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for you comment- I made your suggested changes to my card--- much better!!!!
Love it. This card can still be used as a Mother's Day card or a card for any loved one. I think you did a fabulous with your limited supplies. No one would guess you were missing some of your supplies. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love the flower. :) just think of how great it will be to have all your stuff together again... :)

ReplyDeleteNice!! Limited supplies is what I'll have in coming weeks with my remodel - EEEP! Tell me I'll live through it, please....your card came out cute!
ReplyDeleteReally cute card ! I feel your pain in missing your supplies. I live in 2 different places also, so some supplies here, some there...YIKES! I have joined your blog. I hope you will join mine also. www.pennywardink.com
ReplyDeleteYour elements all work together perfectly! I think fewer supplies make me be more creative in my approach. (Please don't tell my husband I said that!!!)
ReplyDeleteSimple cute card....nice color combo.
ReplyDeleteI, too, love how you used the background papers to make your flower. Also like how you framed the flower with black to make it pop even more. Best wishes in your new place. :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card, and I love your take on the sketch! We both took the exact same liberties! LOL
ReplyDeleteBest wishes in your new digs :)
