Today there is a challenge over at
Frosted Designs and I decided to play along. My card is quite simple and of course doesn't compare to the lovely work of the design team but I like how it turned out. I'm sorry I do know it is not an accurate representation of a flag but I took some creative license-- I hope I don't offend anyone. I was inspired to do this card after seeing tons and tons of cards using punches to make ruffles. It was super easy and kinda fun!
The Deets
Paper: SU, real red and night of navy, random white
Punches: SU border, Fiskers star punch
Ink: Night of Navy
Love it. Using the border for stripes is great!

I agree with everyone here...you have done a fantastic job, I'm here in Australia but if you were doing my flag I would be very proud of what you have done.

ReplyDeleteI had to come see what "simple" means to you! I think we have different definitions, but this card is SUPER cute!! I think I'm going to steal it -- JJ's parents are all about the Americana theme.
