Oh So Bright!

Working on some cards for a couple of super fun challenges I found today!  Lisa over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons has an awesome freebie today-- so I definitely had to cut that cutie out!  And it was perfect to create a card for her Summer Fun Challenge!  And speaking of summer I decided to add a little bling to this card and it was then perfect to add to the fun over at my friend Jo's Scrap Shack where her challenge this week is all about bling!!

CardzTV! Back to School Challenge!

Hi everyone! We’re back from our Summer vacation with some new, fun challenges, and a new name! We’ve divided our large Cardz TV Design Team into 2 smaller teams, and we’re now Cardz TV Challenge Go-To Galz, and Cardz TV Linky Party Go-To Galz! We’ll be rotating every other week, so each week on Cardz TV, you’ll have a chance to enter our challenge, or link up to our linky party! We’re really excited about this new format, and hope you’ll play along! As always, we’ll use random.org to pick a winner for each challenge or linky party, for Cardz TV Stamps and lots of other fun prizes! The Cardz TV Go-To Galz have been really creative in choosing their challenge, and linky party themes, SO…are you ready for some fun?

And here is this week's challenge!!!!

Challenge #32 “Back to School”
Create a card, layout or craft for back to school.
You have until noon EST, Thursday, August 8th, to post your name and a link to your creation!!! Many of you have asked, and no, you don't have to use Cardz TV Stamps to enter!

I took some liberties with my back to school card as I don't have any kiddos who are going back to school and I think we think kids when we think back to school...well okay that's what I think !  So I decided to create a card for one of my new friends who is going back to the classroom-- she's super excited about that!
And I am super excited for her.

Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown!

Hello friends!  Hope you're all having a wonderful evening.  Spent a little time creating some Any Hero Cards to send off to Operation Write Home.  I am a little behind with the Midweek Throwdown but things worked out perfectly as I just picked up a new stamp set that I planned to used specifically for some Any Hero Cards!  Friends--if you are in need of a great patriotic set might I point you in the direction of my new found love at Raisin Boat.  This set is great for Any Hero cards!

Enjoy!

Honest....they said we could....

Oh my goodness...okay so this past weekend I spent way too much time and money shopping for craft goodies!  While I was at the Rubber Stamp Expo I came across the stamp company Raisin Boat they are actually a rental place for stamps...amazing right...okay so my friend and I love stamps and we love shopping together for stamps and let me tell you... Raisin Boat has some super cute stuff!!!!  I think I must be living under a rock to not know about this company?!?!  But anyway!

I pulled out the latest sketch from Operation Write Home and coupled it with this stamp from Boo Hoo from Raisin Boat!  And don't worry that glitter is all sealed in and has been rubbed and rubbed and rubbed and nothing has rubbed off!  So it's safe!  I can't wait to show you some of the other great cards I created with this set :)

You're A Great Catch!!!

Okay craft friends... I was wandering around the internet this weekend and decided that I was in need of some Stampin' Up items... so as I was searching...don't ask me what I was looking at because I can't remember.  I found this life changing video!!!

You see I am ALL about SU! punches... I have a couple... and want a couple more ;)  So I thought hmmmm I wonder if I can find cut files for the punches....oh baby did I ever!  I am so in love with this and I plan to order the full version of the MDS as soon as I have a little extra cash lying around so I can!!!  Love this so much!

So for my project I cut the modern label from my Cameo and I was able to adjust the size by following the simple directions in the video!  Holy life changing batman!!!

Itty Bitty Albums

I have been bitten by the Itty Bitty Album making bug... seriously... I might need to consider a program to help me stop making these!  haha so I've really only made two of them and I've only made the bases so to speak....these albums are still naked from photos and other goodies!  I do hope you love them as much as I do!  Mary at CardzTV is the master mind behind these.... so check out her amazing instructions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I certainly didn't create this template on my own :)  I can only wish I was that talented!   Hopefully you can stop over in a couple of days and see these babies all decorated and in a handy dandy little storage box for display!
