The lovely and talented Lisa of, Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons has allowed for me to be a guest designer for her....how fun is that?!?! I am sooooo in love with this cut file!  It's called Rainy Day Critters and it's so fun to cut!  I did add some glossy accents to the boots, tongue and umbrella but it's a bit tough to see!  Aren't his eyes hilarious?!?!  I love how he's hoppin' on one leg---lookin' like he's dancin' a jig!

Hey friends!  Hope you are all doing well on this lovely Monday!  So ready for this week to be over.  I know right...it's only Monday :) Work has been insane but only the dreaded paperwork remains--so life is starting to be on the up and up!

I am working on some upcoming projects and had to try creating a box card... kinda crazy but I enjoy how it turned out! Isn't the pickle a hoot!  Haha! Love it :)  Hope none of you are in a pickle today!  I am entering this in the Paper Playtime challenge and challenge was to use buttons or brads-- I used three brads!

Handle With Care!

Hello friends!  Hope you are all doing well... LOTS happening here in my world and the next few weeks are going to be CRAZY!  I am in the midst of a terribly busy time at work and I am also finishing up my time at this job and I will be starting a new one at the end of the month... so in the midst of work and packing my crafting has suffered greatly!  I hope to find some time this weekend to craft.  But here's a quick card I whipped up this week for a friend who is having some trouble with her feet-- ouchie!

A Few More Challenges!

Whoa!  So many challenges today that really threw me for a loop yet again!  Yowza Operation Write Home has out done themselves yet again with Day 2 of their Virtual Card Making Party!  It was awesome!

So here are a few of my cards for the various challenges!  So my first card is for two challenges-- the sketch is from OWH Sketch 171 and the colors are for the awesome challenge with my friends at Jaded Blossom-- the super sweet sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom-- super cute right!

My next card is for the challenge that was sponsored by Julie and we were  to use a photograph that we had taken to create an AnyHero card-- holy wow did I struggle with this!  I only had a few pictures printed here at this house so it definitely was a challenge but I think it turned out a-okay once I got going on it!

This card here is all about celebrating summer as that was the theme for the next challenge over at JoAnn's blog!  

My final card for the night was created to meet the challenge set forth by the lovely and talented Sandy and she had a bonus challenge which was all about googlie eyes... don't even let me get started on how long I dug around to find some googlie eyes---I almost had to make a run to the store but not much was open on a Sunday when I got around to this challenge :) I lucked out though and found a set of eyes!

OWH Virtual Card Making Party.... still going strong!

Hello friends!  I am back tonight with a couple of more cards for the awesome Operation Write Home Virtual Card Making Party!  I was able to finish all 4 of the challenges for today... I think that's a personal record for me!  I can't wait to see what tomorrow has in store for me--I am sure the challenges are gonna rock my socks right on off!

So these two challenges were definitely challenges for me!  Paula's challenge was to use an OWH Sketch and create a kid's card!  So I did just that... but I of course used the sketch Paula had posted.... her cards were just so cute!  I had to use it.

For my next card I decided to join Nancy for her sketch challenge... holy moly I thought I struggled with Paula's challenge :) Yikes!  Nancy posted some great scrapbooking sketches so I used a piece of one and the look I was going for was the bear to look like he's busting out of the paper.... I hope you can see that a little bit!  Either way he's pretty cute :)
