Ski you soon!

Ahhhhh if you have not been over to Bugbites! blog to check out her fabulous new stamp sets you are soooooo missing out!  I highly recommend adding these great stamps to your collection-- you won't be disappointed and she is offering them at a fantastic price.

I am convinced that this stamp/sentiment from the Misletoe set is my absolute favorite!  Love it sooo much!  And I really love how this stamp allows you to use it even during the non-holiday season! I will be back this weekend with another one of BugBites stamps used in a non holiday way!  I can't wait to see what you create with Barb's amazing stamps!

Here's my card-- the cricut cartridge I used was the "Campin' Critters" and the paper is mostly SU! except for the fun blue polka dots--that's from Creative Memories.  I apologize that my photo doesn't show the sentiment well in real life it looks fab if I do say so myself!

You Rattle My Bones!

Good Morning!  Hope this post finds you well and enjoying a lovely Wednesday.  Things have been quite busy here and I hope you're still enjoying all of the fantastic cards that have been showcased Barb's BugBites Blog.  I can't wait for you to get your hands on these stamps-- they ROCK!  I know you will need them for all of your Halloween and Winter cards!  Tomorrow I will show you that they can even be used for non-holiday cards--so after you oh and ah over today's post be sure to remember to stop on over tomorrow :)  (ahhhh nothing like a shameless plug for one's own creations :))

Here is my scary skeleton that was cut from the Happy Hauntings cartridge-- the layers of the skeleton have been popped up with dimesionals that were cut to size---oh dear me that was quite painstaking--but the finished product turned out to be cute!  I LOVE how the letters in this sentiment stamp look like little bones...muuhahaha soooo hilarious!  Enjoy :)

Dear Santa...

Hello my dear blogging friends!  Hope you are enjoying this lovely brisk weather.  I created this card as part of the sneak peak for Barb at Bugbites this week she is highlighting two of her brand spankin' new stamp sets that she will soon have ready for purchase!

Yesterday I had some cards posted using her "Magic Spells" stampset and today I am using the sentiment from her "Winter Wishes" stampset-- LOVE it!  Well I actually love them both but I think now that winter is quickly approaching this will soon be my go to set.

Oh and get ready for this...hold on ladies...this is the ONLY sheet of Christmas paper that I have in my whole house...shock...gasp...can you believe it... I was digging through everything in a panic knowing I needed/wanted Christmas themed paper-- oh dear I am going to have to go out shopping for some ASAP!

Oh how I wish I was veggin' out right now...on a beach chair someplace warm and sunny...but not too warm...and I suppose not too sunny!  I hope you take some time to check out the super fabulous challenge that is happening over at Scrappy Moms this week.  The challenge for their Terrific Tuesday Challenge is "Country Life."  I just recently picked up this cartridge for a few of the different cuts on it that I have been wanting to use but just haven't found the time!  However, tonight I made sure I found the time and I love my card...yup...I'm bragging a little but seriously...don't you just love when you have a vision in your head and you just know it's going to be great.  Well for me most of the time things don't always go so great...BUT tonight...ummm hello love what I did.  Wow... and it clearly is getting late as I've raved about how great I am for long enough :)  Stop over at Scrappy Moms and check out the other fab cards!

Happy Tuesday!  I hope this post finds you well and having a nice day.  It's quite brisk here in MN-- I think that summer has officially come to an end.  I am excited to see the leaves change and enjoy the cooler weather...but I'm not quite ready for the snow.  Last night I had a little time to spend with my crafting goodies and I created this cute criss cross/pocket card for a challenge at Birthday Sundaes.  The challenge was to create a criss cross birthday card--so I did :)  Hope you enjoy it!

Ahhhh my bloggy friends...it's Monday!  The weather here in MN was warm the last few days...which I think officially means that summer is over.  I am looking forward to my favorite season... hockey season...so I guess I have something to look forward to :)

However, it's Monday and Monday  means that it's time for another fabulous challenge at FCCB.  This week we are having challenge #77.  And the challenge is "Make Some Music"  I hope you decide to join us by creating a card or project with an instrument or some music notes on it-- just don't forget to use at least one cut from your fabulous cricut.

You Rocked It!

I'm not sure who rocked what?!?  But this card came to mind when I received some Unity goodies in the mail today and one of the sentiments was "you rocked it" and I immediately thought of a rocking chair.  So of course I had to find a chair that fit my needs.  And I found this one on the Kate's ABCs cartridge.  The paper is from my stash and of course the twine is from The Twinery.

It's possible I might be addicted to Unity Stamps :) And it's Friday...so I had to join in on the Friends With Flair I know I looooooooove checking out all of the fantastic talent each and every Friday!!!  Stop on over!  You won't be disappointed!

Frightfully Delightful

I decided I simply had to create for yet another challenge :)  Today I decided to take a peek at the Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge and found this cute little sketch challenge.  I certainly took some creative license with it...but it was fun.  I was dying to use my Monster faces and my Mini Monsters cartridge--so I decided to put them together for this card.  Perhaps I got a little heavy handed with my white gel pen and sponging...but kinda gives it a creepy feel if you ask me :)

Ahhh feels like Monday!

Oh my blogging friends I hope this post finds you well...I can't believe it's Tuesday...where the heck did the weekend go.  Mine was great--spent some time with my family and we had a great time.  I decided that it was time to get back to my Cricut--the poor thing has been terribly abandon and I had to make at least one card with her tonight and decided to share it with all of you!  I came across some challenges I decided to enter and many of them focused on Grandparents Day--sadly all of my grandparents have passed away and I miss one of my Grandmas a lot-- this card is in her honor!
I remember my Grandma sitting at the kitchen table and she always had a deck of cards in her and...she was a world class Solitaire player and she'd whip any of her children in a few hands of Pinochle :)  And we grew up playing Tripoley for pennies for years and years--and you knew best not to ever cheat if you were playing with G-Ma...if you cheated you were done playing with her!  Ahhh my family now always enjoys playing cards--this weekend we played a lot of "Golf" and we are known to pull out the Tripoley board now and again!  Miss you Grandma!

You Are My Sunshine!

Hello Friends!  I hope you are all having a great Friday.  I decided I had to pull out some more Unity Stamps again today-- I think I might be falling in love more and more each day.  And did I mention I might be in love with my new "tiny attacher" yep...it's a stapler...but it's soooooo cute!  Love it.  This card is a whole bunch of randomness if you ask me...I did some paper piecing, did some shading, did some paper tearing...and it actually looks pretty darn cute if you ask me.  I will be linking it up at Unity Friday Friends With Flair!

Cricutless!

Hello my bloggy friends!  I hope you're doing well and enjoying the day.  It's soooooo warm here in MN today--at one point I thought I was going to melt right there in my office.  Yuck!  Tonight I finally had some time to do a little creating.  I am soooo far behind on challenges that it makes my heart sad.  But I did stop over at  and visit Emma's Throwback Thursday and her challenge today was to go Cricutless...yikes...that's almost like going nude to me!  Yikes!  But I managed to leave my cricut alone and create a card using "black, green, purple and orange" for this old school cricutless challenge.

I was inspired by the great work or her design team.  But I decided to be quite simple with my card and I used a couple new Halloween stacks from DCWV.  All of the punches that are used were from SU! and the ribbon was just in my stash.  I hope you like it!
