FCCB Challenge #84 For the Birds:)

Happy Monday Everyone!!! And Happy Halloween to all of you too!  I decided for the challenge at Fantabulous Cricut for this week that while the challenge is "For the Birds" so we are asking you to create a project with a bird...or turkey...or something to do with a bird!  I decided to use one of my favorite cartridges to create a "Pilgrim Bird"  I had a stamp from BugBites that I wanted to use on this set but I just couldn't figure out what to stamp it on to make it look right... so I simply left it off!  I do hope you can find some creative time to join us at FCCB for our weekly challenge!  Please remember we love seeing your Cricut being put to use on your projects :)

Super Bird!!!

One of my favorite things about Sunday is checking out the fun challenges over at Birthday Sundaes.  I am delighted to be one of the Guest Designers highlighted on their blog today.  They have a wonderfully talented Design Team so I was tickled to be able to share on their blog!  I do hope you enjoy my card! I was looking for something super fun so I decided to create "Super Bird."  The Three Birds on Parade cartridge is one of my all time favorites!  Love it soooo much!

How's it rollin'?!?

Hello my blogtastic friends!  Ugh I can't believe how behind I am in my card making and blog posting...work has been super stinkin' busy so I've just not found time to craft!  But...I had to find time to make this card for Unity Friends With Flair and oh my...I kinda love how it turned out.  I have to confess I purchased this Itty Bitty solely for the sentiment...and this is the card I have been dying to find time to make!  I am pretty sure I need to call the lovely and talented Angela at Unity and tell her she and I need to get together for a cup of coffee and create some stamp sets that will pair nicely with Cricut cartridges :)  Yep... a girl can dream :)

Wine Time

Good Morning friends!  I had to create a card quick before getting on the road and I "had" to use the sketch at Chicks Challenge with Ippity.  It was a lot of fun!  I love having a sketch to go off of it helps me not to stick with the same sketch over and over :)  I adore this new stamp set from Ippity---super cute!  If you don't have an Ippity chick please let me know and I can highly recommend one for you--she's awesome!  I'd couldn't fit a sentiment on like I planned but I do enjoy how this turned out.  I think the cork was a great idea ;)  hehe!

I'm in love...

Yes, folks...I am in love...with a new set of stamps...holy cuteness is about all I can say for this new set!  I had to order the super adorable Faceless Corn from Peachy Keen.  It's even cuter in person-- oy the little faces and the punny phrases to go along with it...love!

So of course I had to pull out this set to use for the PKS sketch challenge.  I did some paper piercing for the ear of corn and love how it turned out!  This little face is my favorite from the set!  Hope you enjoy my corny card for the day!

Chick Challenge #2

Friends...ovals are NOT my friends!  I had a really hard time creating this card... I apparently do not mesh well with ovals!  But I had to use an oval...well had to is a bit extreme but I wanted to so I can join the other chick over at Chick Challenges!  If you've not checked out these chicks I highly recommend you peep on over and see what all the fuss is about!  I didn't think I'd love new stamps as much as I love my Unity and Ippity stamps...oy!  They are sooooo much fun to use.  So pull out your Ippity stamps and join the fun!!

Today the challenge is to create a project with the color purple and include a monster or a bug in it!  Don't forget of course that you need to use your Cricut :)  I can't wait to see what you create!!!

Give Thanks!

I figured it was time to give myself a little break from the Halloween scene and work on some Thanksgiving cards.  I found this adorable stamp at the Stampin' and Scrappin' Expo awhile back and I love it!  It was super easy to color in with my markers and of course I had to add a little glitter to just about everything :)  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello blog friends!  I hope you are all doing well on this crazy windy day here in MN.  I think I've finally chat the ick that has been going around here for weeks!  My head feels like it weighs 9,000 pounds. So I haven't had much time to create-- soooo sad.  I did do a little blog surfing the last couple of days and if you've not checked out the new Ippity Challenge blog I highly recommend that you do so ....here check em out  Ippity Chicks Challenge!

I have a new round love for Unity and Ippity too!  I decided to play with the Ippity Chicks and because it's Friday...that means it's a Unity Friends with Flair.

Pumpkin Time!

Happy Monday morning everyone.  Today there is yet another fabulous challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut the challenge is "pumpkin time."  So pull out your cricut cartridges and cut out some amazing pumpkins and join us for an amazing time!  Stop over and check out the great pumpkin projects that the awesome FCCB design team has created!

I used this cartridge for the first time and I'm not completely sold on it...but it didn't turn out too bad.  I don't like the ribbon behind the design but it felt like it needed a little something. I really didn't like it so I decided to remove the ribbon and I think it looks much better now :) The orange part is glitter paper that didn't show up too well in the photo but looks great in real life.  I also tried some wired floss to add to the stem of the pumpkin--kinda fun!

If the boots fit...

Happy Sunday blog friends!  I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the last day of your weekend.  I'm not at all ready for the weekend to end but I guess I really can't control that :)  I did find some time to craft and catch up on a few projects!  I must admit my laundry has fallen to the wayside but I always have tonight to catch up on that.  I waited until the bitter end to do another challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps--a couple of weeks ago I was soooo lucky and won some fabulous stamps from PKS-- so of course I had to use them for this sketch challenge!  I love this stamp set-- it's so cute!  The witch boots really called to me so I had to use them.  And of course the challenge was to also use twine-- hellooooo I love me some twine!

Happy Sunday!  Enjoy!
