I was on a bit of a roll working in advance on some projects... but that meant I was behind in my OWH cards! So I decided I would do a few more today to get my box ready to send off to Kris. I ended up with 54 cards to send-- every little bit helps so I shouldn't be so sad about it! That will go in the mail tomorrow. I did whip out my new stamp set... it's soooooooooooooooo cute! I am in love with Pink By Design Stamps...I wish that money grew on trees so I could own all of their sets because they are sooooo cute! But this one...well two actually called my name so I had to have them!
Hello! Happy Friday Everyone! It's the weekend! Whooohooooo! I hope you're all having a great day. Nothing new here in good ole MN which is fine by me. I found some challenges that I simply needed to enter and this card kinda cracks me up!
Cut is from Fun in the Sun cricut lite cart
Paper I believe is Echo Park
Hilarious sentiment is from Scrappy Moms and embossed
Ribbon is from my stash
Face is from Peachy Keen Stamps--well I should say just the mouth
So who's all singing? So happy together... I know that's all that's stuck in my head every time I look at this digi! This image cracks me up! Love it. There's a new challenge over at Fresh Brewed Designs and it's a sketch challenge. I found this one super difficult to work with but here is what I ended up with :) I used a newer embossing folder that I really like and I tried some washi tape for the first time-- pretty cool stuff!
I hope you are here from stopping over with my friends at Ginger Snap Scraps and you figured out that we are highlighting the oh so popular Subway art. I decided to break a few rules and use some stamps to create my subway art-- which I'm sure many others have done but I thought I would give it a try! I decided to go with a winter/holiday/Christmas type theme and found the perfect supplies at Ginger Snap Scraps! I used the Echo Park Holly Jolly paper pad, Bug Bites Stamps: Mistletoe, and Twine from the Twinery.
It's time for the Midweek Throwdown with my friends at Operation Write Home. It's a monkey challenge my friends so pull out your die cuts or stamps that showcase monkeys! You know you want to! I hope you enjoy my card! So glad to be back in the blogging world :)

Ahhhh I love a good challenge and my friends at Fresh Brewed Designs are having a challenge today! It's a color challenge-- I bet you can guess the colors...red, yellow, and teal--yep I think I pulled off those colors just fine! I colored up some images the last couple of weeks while chillin' at the hospital with my DH and FIL waiting while my MIL had couple of surgeries--she's doing awesome now and was released yesterdayand this sassy lady was the perfect addition for my card today! Hope you love it!
This sentiment cracks me up! It says "I don't have a problem with caffeine, i have a problem without it"
Ah back to crafting...that's a good thing-- sure beats spending time at the hospital! I am so looking forward to a quiet weekend doing absolutely nothing...well maybe I'll craft a little. Yesterday was an awesome day for me! I won some stamps from Unity Stamp Company and if that wasn't amazing enough...hello they arrived today! So I simply had to ink up this set! And I decided it had been way tooooo long since I've played with my friends over at Chick Challenges with Ippity so I tried to create a card to match their sketch challenge!
Paper: Neenah Solar White and SU! Basic Black, DSP...not sure
Colored with Copics and TH Distress Ink in Broken China

Oh my goodness these owls are so stinkin' adorable!! Yet they send an awesome message! Save The Hooters is from Fresh Brewed Designs. This set is not one of their digi stamps-- it's cling mounted rubber. I used one of the sentiments from the set to create my background paper. In case it's hard to read it says, "Save the hooters."

I hope you are looking for some sweet treats on this hop! And it's all about ice cream, malts, shakes, cones, sundaes, etc! I am so sad with my poor picture--the cherry on the top is super cute... and this picture just doesn't quite show it-- it's all shiny and red and awesome :) I dipped it in embossing powder a few times to get a quick shine! My card is cut from my Cricut using the Birthday Bash cartridge. The paper in the solid colors is from bazzill love the fun colors they offer! The great polka dots are from a sheet of paper made by Echo Park. While looking through my paper stacks I think I have a small addiction to polka dots these days :) The super cute sentiment is from Joy's Life Stamps and it was stamped using Tim Holtz distress ink ink Antique Linen--it's the perfect color for just about any project!
I hope you enjoyed my card! Please hop on over to my friend Janea's blog at Recollection Alley
We have five generous and fabulous sponsors giving away prizes for our hop. Let's see what they're serving :)
I know I'm always looking for a simple card designs and this tends to be one that I LOVE to use for weddings. It's simple and I think it ends up looking lovely no matter what color you use for the background etc. I used Bazzill cardstock, Kaiser Craft Wedding stamps, and charcoal twine from The Twinery. I also used my very first Cuttlebug folder for this card and it broke...it ripped apart...so still very usable of course but still! All of the products I used for this card are available for purchase with my friend Cori over at Ginger Snap Scraps!
Heehee the name of this digi stamp is hilarious! Hot Date is from Fresh Brewed Designs. I mean seriously...she has mixed coffee with stamping...hello. That's a match made in heaven if you ask me :) Well perhaps no one asked me but that's my opinion...coffee...mmm yum!
Happy Tuesday Everyone. I hope this posts finds you well. I can't believe that we are already into June--where oh where is the summer going. I hope you take some time to join us over at Ginger Snap Scraps the Design Team has some great projects for you to check out! The theme for our projects today is "fruits and veggies." It's awesome--I love how this paper feels and the colors are fab! You won't be disappointed. I think this card will be a perfect any hero card for my OWH stash! I used OWH Sketch #60 for this card! The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper!
I am so glad I had some time to create a card for my Operation Write Home box and they are having a challenge-- you know me I love a good challenge. Every month OWH works with Our Daily Bread on an awesome challenge. Once OWH has 25 cards posted ODB will sponsor a box of cards to be sent! Annnnd if we have 50 cards or more they will sponsor a second box!
So this month the challenge is to make a shaped card! How fun. So I pulled out my trusty ole cuttlebug and some nestabilities and this is what I came up with!
Hi friends, I hope this post finds you all well and enjoying your Saturday! I hope it's a great one! I can't believe it's June...where oh where does the time go?! I am so happy to be sharing this card with you today using a digi stamp from Bugaboo Stamps. Did you know they offer a freebie every Friday! Friday and a freebie--love it! Stop over and check out the great digi stamps they have to offer.
I created this card with Link Up For Pink! in mind! So of course I was thinking about breast cancer and breast cancer awareness. And I was wondering why a pink ribbon? Here's a little tidbit: "The first known use of a pink ribbon in connection with breast cancer awareness was in the fall of 1991, when the Susan G. Komen Foundation handed out pink ribbons to participants in its New York City race for breast cancer survivors."

Paper from SU--the ribbon "paper" is white paper stamped with a ribbon stamp
