Idaho Stud!

This stamp seriously cracks me up... I mean really makes me giggle!  This digi is from Fresh Brewed Designs and I am having sooooo much fun with digi stamps that I simply had to print and color this cutie!  Even the sentiment that goes along with it is hilarious!  I created this card for the sketch challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs.  I was super excited to wake up this morning to see my card from last week's challenge featured on their blog-- so awesome!

Stamp: Digital stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs
Paper: Bazzil and I think Echo Park... I think
Markers: Copics
Gems: Bazzil

The hilarious sentiment that goes with this stamp!  Love it!

Beep Beep!

I had lots of motivation this weekend from the Operation Write Home Memorial Day weekend sketch blog hop.  There were soooo many cards shown and it was awesome!  So I decided to pick a sketch to create my next card.  I decided to use Sketch 12 with some new paper I picked up at Crafts Direct this weekend...oh dear me... I had sworn I was NOT going to purchase any more 12x12 paper until I used up a large portion of what I already had.  But... I did have to picked some up because it was super on sale!  I mean really...$0.08 a sheet---for all sorts of brands, etc.  Holy wow!  I simply just couldn't say no...I have troubles with the word no :) Oh and did I mention they had stamps too-- picked this there too-- also on sale!  Whooohooo!

GSS: Red, White and Blue

Happy Memorial Day to all!  And Thank you to all who are serving our country, all who served and all the families of these exceptional men and women.  And let's never forget those who paid the ultimate price for the freedoms we cherish.

I am sharing this card I created to focus on red, white and blue using some awesome products from Ginger Snap Scraps.  I have been using a lot of the Authentique Glory paper pad-- I love the paper!  The designs are very fun and looks so great with solid colors!  The cut is from my Stand and Salute Cricut cartridge.  There is a small bit of twine from the Twinery tied onto the die cut. The twine was distressed using my Tim Holtz Antique Linen distress ink pad.  The tiny star brads in the corner are from Mike's!  Enjoy :)

Happy Wednesday everyone.  Hope this post finds you well.   I have been doing a little crafting here and there and I am happy to share with you one of my newest goodies.  Have you stopped by and checked out Fresh Brewed Designs?  If you haven't you most certainly should make a stop-- they have some awesome stamps. I will be linking this card up for their framing it challenge!  I was introduced to this company from my friends at  Link Up For Pink-- who by the way are starting a new challenge tomorrow and it's sure to be awesome!

So back to my card. Who doesn't love a good cup of coffee!?!  Well I know some of you don't so pretend this is tea or whatever steamy beverage you would enjoy :)  I am slowly working with my Copics and trying desperately to make things look good-- I did do some shading for this card and it turned out a-okay.  Hope you stop back tomorrow for my post...all I can say is you "gnome" you don't wanna miss it!

Link Up For Pink!

I am so honored and excited to be one of the design team members for Link Up For Pink.  Breast cancer and cancer in general have touched my life in so many ways and have touched the lives of so many people I love and care about-- I am so excited to a part of this great group.  A special thank you to Yolie and  Celeste who created this amazing blog!

This team will be all about sharing stories, building friendships and an opportunity to bring about breast cancer awareness.  As many of you know breast cancer awareness month is in October but this team will help remind us all that we can't just bring awareness about in October we must strive to do this on a more regular basis.  I am by no means an expert in regards to breast cancer but I want to do what I can to raise awareness!  There are 6 other amazing woman whom I will be joining on this journey and I am so looking forward to it.

Echo Park Day!

Can you believe it's Friday?!? I am so ready for the weekend.  It's time for the Ginger Snap Scraps Design Team to be creating some great projects for you to enjoy. Today we are focusing on Echo Park products.

I created a small gable box using Echo Park Doilies12x12 along with the super-amazing scoring tip and housing that works fabulously with the  Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2  Cricut cartridge.  The crinkle ribbon I made using white seam binding and dyed it using Tim Holtz Scattered Straw and Spun Sugar reinkers.

In case you couldn't tell I am in love with the scoring tip and the TBBM2 cartridge!  Now if Cricut would just provide me with the updates I need so I can use it with more of my new cartridges!

Congratulations!

I just found out that a friend/co-worker got engaged last night.  So I definitely had to create a card for her over lunch today!  It came together super easy as I used a simple cut from my Cricut and kept all of the elements simple!

Pop, Pop!

Hello Friends.  Happy Monday...oh where oh where did the weekend go?!?!  I think I blinked and bam it was over :(  Well it's time again for another awesome creation for the Ginger Snap Scraps design team.  Today the projects will all be focused on the Cricut!  Hello this was right up my alley.  You know I love my Cricut and of course I just simply had to add some stamps from my new love Lawn Fawn.  I hope you enjoy :)

Graduation Cap!

A little graduation present here.  I borrowed the idea from here.  I did have to tweak the directions a bit so I was able to fit a gift card in the box and I did have to make a few different cuts and such to make it fit but after all that work it turned out pretty awesome.  The tassel was the hardest part for me to make and it still didn't turn out fabulous but it looked a-okay for gift giving.

Whoooooo loves you?!?

Yay I had some time to quickly create another card for the final OWH Rebel Challenge from this weekend. The challenge was to use an owl-- so I pulled out my owl punch from SU! and created this card.  I feel like it's missing something....but I just don't know what.  Perhaps it's just fine the way it is!

Keep Cool!

Today the Design Team at Ginger Snap Scraps will be highlighting awesome projects created with the new fabulous Tim Holtz spring inks! And I have created a mini card for you to enjoy! The size is 3x3 and perfect for just a little note. I used the new fabulous Tim Holtz spring inks as well as the re-inkers. I used the Squeezed Lemonade reinker to watercolor the lemonade in the glass. The great stamped images are all from the Lawn Fawn set Swimsuit Season. All paper is Bazzill and the shape was cut with a Spellbinder die. The cubes are topped off with a little some stickles. Enjoy :)

Ahhhh nuts!

I had some time to create some cards today for OWH and I had a blast using up some of my hoarded supplies and some colors I don't typically go towards.

For this challenge we were to use blue and gray!  A challenge for me for sure!

This challenge asked us to use items we've been "hoarding"... I am in love with brads but never wanna use them!  Off to OWH these brads will go--hope I can find more time to use some more of them :)

OWH Virutal Card Making Party!

I'm being a rebel and joining the other over at OWH for their virtual card making party this weekend. They are being rebels by creating cards for National Scrapbook Weekend-- heck that works for me...I am NOT a scrapper at all!  There are 4 challenges up right now and I think you should dig out your supplies and make some cards for OWH!

The first challenge is to do some paper piecing-- love doing that!  I might have to go back and do a little repair work on my airplane as it popped up the plane and thinking it over I should glue it down so it survives its travels!

For the the third challenge we are using food as our main image.  I was dying to use my new Joy's Life Stamp and cricut!  It turned out pretty okay...almost looks good enough to eat.  For each of my cards I also used a different OWH sketch challenge!  I was trying to avoid using the same ole sketch!

Wrap It Up!

I hope you are all having a great day.  I am posting this little box as my first post as an official design team member for Ginger Snap Scraps!  I am sooooo excited to be creating with these awesome designers.  Today the theme for our projects is  to "Wrap It Up" and to use twine... well of course I had to take it a bit further and make an actual box.  I used the Sweet Tooth Boxes Cricut cartridge and Crate Paper for the lid.  Of course the treat box is wrapped up with Twinery twine.

OWH Sketch Challenge!

I love a good challenge... I just hate when I don't have time to play!  I created this card for OWH Sketch #19  I am in love with Lawn Fawn stamps as of late-- they are super cute!  I hope that all of you are doing well.  I lost some crafting time as I was in the basement during the tornado warning but no damage appears to be around here but the sirens are always a bit unsettling!
