Midweek Throw-Down--Color Challenge

Ahhh a little crafting at lunch--love it!  I of course was super excited I had time to create a card for the OWH Midweek Throw Down and of course it was a color challenge-- yikes.  Green and yellow...hmmm I love green...but green and yellow...hmmmm not so much.  But I did toss in a little craft and I'm pretty okay with how it turned out :)  I'm excited to be adding to my OWH stash!  I decided just to leave this with no sentiment and I think it will be a great OWH card.  I am also apparently stuck on this sketch-- heck not even sure where it came from. Oh and the SU! dies...hello I might need to start using something else huh!

Stamp from Unity: KOTM.
Markers: Copic
Paper: Green and Kraft Recollections
Little yellow strip I believe MME
White Embossing Powder
Die from SU!

Sooooo behind!

Ugh I am so behind with my blogging and that makes me sad.  I am so behind in crafting in general.  Lots and lots happening in my world these days!  Lots of sad too.  My husbands grandmother passed away--she was the sweetest woman I'd met in a long time!  This week has been rough and I'm sure it will be even harder as we all gather to say goodbye to her!  I hope we can all hold on to her wonderful spirit!  She will certainly be missed.  Yikes...typing through tears is not easy!  So I will make this brief.  I made this small note card to say thank you for a wonderful plant my DH received from his work--it's lovely!

Chick Challenge #20

What a great challenge again over at  Ippity Chicks Challenge!  I love this challenge every week--it's just so much fun!  And now you can use your Unity stamps too---yay!  That makes it even more amazing if you ask me :)  Here is a great card I put together using the KOTM.  A super easy St. Patrick's Day card.  And I need to confess--I am in trouble... a whole lot of it.  Ummmm I finally broke down and found some new white paper...HOLY MOLY.  A friend had recommended that I try  Papertrey Ink white paper--holy moly where has this paper been all of my life. I am soooooooo in love with it. Wow... and just wait until you see my card that I post next--super stinkin' adorable!
