Vroom Vroom

Ahhhhh summer is over for me...work has picked up and things will be super busy for the next 3 weeks!  I am looking forward to it but I will miss having down time to craft!  But I'm sure I will have to sneak some time in there somewhere...I will need to or I might go crazy :)  And believe me no one will want Crazy Sarah.

I was checking up on some of my bloggin' faves and I see there is a fun challenge at Cricut 360.  The challenge they have presented this week is transportation.  I wasn't sure what I wanted to do so I pulled out my Gypsy and decided to use Chore Chart again-- love this chart! I'm still waiting to find a Walmart that have these carts for $15-- guess I'm not one of the lucky ones!  But anyway--I used this card along with some fun arrowed paper from American Crafts to whip this baby up.  And the twine...yep had to use some twine.  The Twinery has released 3 new colors and they go on sale tomorrow-- I will soooo be ordering :)

Let's Go Camping...

Oh dear my mailman is getting sooooo tired of me asking him since Monday--ummm do you have my Scrappy Moms Stamps with you today... I am crossing my arms, fingers, toes and legs in hopes that those babies are in the mail tomorrow :)  But I shall be patient...hmmm not really sure I am capable of that but we shall see.

Last night my DH treated me to a new cartridge!  Campin' Critters---I think he thought I was kidding when I said..."I have to have this cartridge."  He looked and me like I was speaking a different language...as he knows as well as most of you that I don't camp...don't really even do the outdoors!  But I had to have this cartridge :)

So I had to play along at Scrappy Moms Stamps Challenge this week.  The challenge was to use the Campin' Critters or the Nifty Fifties cartridge--and wowzers I do love both of these carts but I did pick my new one!  Love it!  I also added some twine of course.  Oh and I tried some Creative Memories cardstock-- I was very impressed with how well it cuts with the Cricut-- very nice cuts and smooth edges.

Hay...Neigh-bor!

Ahhh the joys of a pun!  Nothing says Sarah quite like a pun and I am sure glad there are tons of stamp creators out there that love the pun as well (well perhaps I could limit my collection of pun stamps...but what's the fun in that?)

I have created this card for the M.A.G Challenge and it was to use page 59 from the Create A Critter cartridge-- I am afraid my CAC was crying a bit as I had used it ALL the time just weeks ago and for some reason it has not been my go to cartridge--I've really been "trying" to use all of my cartridges and not just my faves!  I think I've been doing a fine job :)

So I hope you enjoy my card.  The DSP I believe is from Reminisce--I need to be way better at remembering my paper-- I only say that because I'm the annoying person who always falls in love with paper on someone's blog and then asks where it's from, etc.  Hmmm sure glad no-one has been doing that asking of me--guess I better watch it :)

Solid Paper SU and DSP Reminisce (it's dual sided--same piece)

FCCB Challenge #70

Ugh it's Monday!  I must admit the only reason I look forward to Monday is because of the fantabulous challenges at Fantabulous Cricut!  This week it's melon time!  I hope you decide to join us.  Please create a project with melon or fruit on it.  This week will also be the first week where the new lovely ladies to the design team will be joining us!  I know I am super excited to see their work and of course the work of the other ladies returning :)  But please link up your melon/fruity project!!  We can't wait to see what you have created--please remember to add atleast one cricut cut!

Life Is Too Short To Match Socks!

Love this stamp from Unity it's real name is "Matching Socks"  stinkin' cute.  I feel like my crafting has turned into one big ole pun!  But ya know what I'm okay with it.  I had to have this set and I'm pretty sure it was meant to be as it was the last one at my local craft store-- I had meant to add it to my order a couple of weeks ago but I must not have put it in the cart.  But alas on to my card.  I will be linking it up with the other creative cards that can be seen at Unity!  Today is Friday and that's a good thing at Unity...not only is it the weekend...it's also Friends With Flair--I've only joined once as I often forget to use my stamps --so I let my cricut rest and came up with this card!  Hope you enjoy!

The Deets!
Stamp: Unity Matching Socks
Solid Paper: SU Not Quite Navy
Twine: The Twinery--I dyed it a bit with my inks

You're A Lifesaver

Does a friend ever call you just when you need it?  Almost like you're thinking...hmmm I really need to talk and all of a sudden...ring ring!  I love when that happens.  I swear my bestie just knows when to call me!  Heck she's probably checked my blog and knew I'd been crafting like a mad woman so she knew something was up!  Ahhhhh nothing like a great friend to make your day :)

I am still madly in love with Scrappy Moms Stamps! and this sentiment is again from their "Quirky Quotes" set--which is brand new and I highly recommend that you check it!  This set was just highlighted on the FCCB blog for SMS being an amazing sponsort!  I highly recommend you checking out their stamps...I know I'm off to place an order so I can get some more of their lovies in my hot little hands.

Ahhh Ketchup

I just knew I had to have the "Food For Thought" stamp set from K Andrew Designs as my husband is obsessed with ketchup...I swear we go through more bottles of ketchup in a month than my family ever went through in a year--and I like to think I enjoy ketchup...hmmm maybe I don't :)  Once this stamp set arrived I knew just the thing to make with it and it worked out because Kristal is hosting a Food For Thought Challenge over at her blog!  So I will be entering my card in her challenge!  I hope you enjoy it.  I would highly recommend the Cricut Lite Block Party cartridge--I can't believe how many great cuts are on it-- I know they are on sale at Walmarts from what I have "heard" in the blog world!  Well I am off to find some more ketchup stamps :)  Have a great Wednesday!
