Midweek Throw-Down

It's time again for another midweek throw-down with the lovely and talented crafters over at OWH.  The challenge this week is to make a card with flowers-- so I did just that.  The picture makes the colors look a little off but in real life they match!  Or perhaps it's way past my bedtime and my eyes aren't working so well.

Miss You All The Time!

Here is another card I just had to make! I picked up this paper for the purpose of making these cards.  And I must admit I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.  I used my Tim Holtz distress ink to ink around the edges of the clock/timer paper and it looks pretty cool.  The paper is from Scrappin' Sports and More-- I picked it up at my LSS.  They have a lot of fun papers in their collection!  I will be duplicating this card to send off in my OWH box!!

FCCB Challenge! Boys Rule!

Happy Monday Everyone! Hope this posts finds you well and having a great day.  It was a long weekend here filled with work but I managed to find a little time to craft.  I hope you are excited for another challenge with my friends at Fantabulous Cricut.  This week we are having some "Man Time."  So I can't wait to see you man themed projects!  Don't forget to add a cricut cut!!

Did you see that I also used some amazing paper!  It's from a kit from Boys Rule Kits they are our rockin' sponsor this week at FCCB!

Prepare to be shocked and you check out my projects today...this summer will be almost three years since we were in Chicago for a Twins game.  It was a fabulous time and we had a blast!  Hope you enjoy my scrapbook page-- yep go easy on me... I do NOT scrap at all so this is a rare project :) Haha!

Chick Challenge!

It is time for another Ippity Chick Challenge.  Love the challenge this week!  Soooo fun!  I love my new Ippity set and I can't wait to find out more about the changes that are happening in the Ippity/Unity world :)  I love that I can now purchase them right from Unity-- NOT that my Unity gal didn't rock my socks off...perhaps she will remain my chick-- guess I will have to do some research!

Midweek Throw-down...on Saturday!

Ah I kinda missed Wednesday and it being midweek but decided to take some time this morning to make a couple of cards before heading to work.  I used some new goodies I received for Christmas and that was the midweek throw-down challenge at  OWH

I hope you like what I did!  I love these two stamp sets and I pulled out some of my new paper for this project-- I believe that this is from Doodlebug design!  Yay for remembering my brand of paper!

Hope you enjoy!

I miss seeing you!

It was time again to play with another Unity challenge :)  I of course had to order the KOTM...love, love, love it!  The December kit is great-- I am sure you will see a TON of cards made with this kit in the upcoming days.  But I had to join in the Unity KOTM sketch challenge for January-- ummm hello!  Love this sketch. I did certainly take some liberties with it...but hey that's okay!  Enjoy!

Happy New Year!

Oh what a year... I can't believe I've had a blog for almost a year...that's crazy talk!  I hope that all of you found a special way to ring in the new year!  I was at a lovely wedding and had a great time the last few days with my family!  We had a great time playing cards and having a lot of laughs.  I did miss my stamps and crafts a little though!  But I figure it was time to start a New Years resolution-- I have a few personal ones but I figured I better stick with a crafting  one too!  I have resolved to create 100 cards for OWH and by create I mean, create, stamp with information, stuff properly in envelopes and mail to my shipper all before I can spend any more money on craft items!  Holy wow... I hope I can do this!  But OWH is way more important to get cards to than new stamps to me :)  Wish me luck!

So what better way to stick to my goal than to do a couple of challenges.  I found the fabulous sketch at OWH Sketch Challenge #102 and also there is a facebook challenge for Unity.  I will be linking up my card on their facebook page if I can figure out how :)  The stamp I am using is from Unity and their Itty Bitty Collection-- you can find it here.
