Finally!

I had been collecting toilet paper rolls in an attempt to make albums...ummm well let me just tell you I don't have any albums to show for all of the rolls I have collected...or had friends collect.  So I was super excited to see a challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge that asked us to try out a project using a toilet paper roll.  So I smushed mine down and created a gift card holder.  I also decided that I would use love as my theme so that fits quite well with the More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday challenge.  And love is in the air at My Sheri Crafts so I added two hearts to my project to enter her challenge as well :)  Hope you enjoy this project!

Thanks for being so sweet!

I'm in love with this stamp set and I am sooooo glad I was able to find some time to use it today.  This set is the Peachy Keen Stamps: Faceless Corn and I love it.  The face are super cute and I love them.  There was a challenge for Let's Face It Friday with PKS--Fabric Scraps.  Clearly the challenge was to use a PKS face and some fabric...wow... I didn't have a clue what to do so I pulled out a scrap of fabric that I had and ran it through my cuttlebug and ended up with some black flowers---hmmm not dead just a new color :)

I then had to pull out my I-Top brad maker-- ummmm hello why on earth had I NOT been making brads with faces before this?!?!  Well I am sure you will see more of these cuties!

I'm in love...

Yes, folks...I am in love...with a new set of stamps...holy cuteness is about all I can say for this new set!  I had to order the super adorable Faceless Corn from Peachy Keen.  It's even cuter in person-- oy the little faces and the punny phrases to go along with it...love!

So of course I had to pull out this set to use for the PKS sketch challenge.  I did some paper piercing for the ear of corn and love how it turned out!  This little face is my favorite from the set!  Hope you enjoy my corny card for the day!

If the boots fit...

Happy Sunday blog friends!  I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the last day of your weekend.  I'm not at all ready for the weekend to end but I guess I really can't control that :)  I did find some time to craft and catch up on a few projects!  I must admit my laundry has fallen to the wayside but I always have tonight to catch up on that.  I waited until the bitter end to do another challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps--a couple of weeks ago I was soooo lucky and won some fabulous stamps from PKS-- so of course I had to use them for this sketch challenge!  I love this stamp set-- it's so cute!  The witch boots really called to me so I had to use them.  And of course the challenge was to also use twine-- hellooooo I love me some twine!

Happy Sunday!  Enjoy!

Ahhhh my bloggy friends...it's Monday!  The weather here in MN was warm the last few days...which I think officially means that summer is over.  I am looking forward to my favorite season... hockey season...so I guess I have something to look forward to :)

However, it's Monday and Monday  means that it's time for another fabulous challenge at FCCB.  This week we are having challenge #77.  And the challenge is "Make Some Music"  I hope you decide to join us by creating a card or project with an instrument or some music notes on it-- just don't forget to use at least one cut from your fabulous cricut.

I look forward to seeing your project!!

Frightfully Delightful

I decided I simply had to create for yet another challenge :)  Today I decided to take a peek at the Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge and found this cute little sketch challenge.  I certainly took some creative license with it...but it was fun.  I was dying to use my Monster faces and my Mini Monsters cartridge--so I decided to put them together for this card.  Perhaps I got a little heavy handed with my white gel pen and sponging...but kinda gives it a creepy feel if you ask me :)

A Splash of Color

Happy Monday...ahhhh it's Monday...so that means it's time for another FCCB challenge!  I know you are as excited as I am for this challenge!  The challenge today is to showcase a splash of color...so we are asking that you create a card or a project using the color yellow.  I had NO idea that I rarely if ever use yellow and this was most certainly a challenge for me.

I used my Pack Your Bags cart to cut out the sun and then decided the sun needed a smiley face so I pulled out my Peachy Keen Stamps for a little face.  I used most Stampin' Up paper but the checked yellow and white is from Hobby Lobby.  The ribbon is from the $ Tree and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Sun Kissed stamp set.

I hope you decide to join us!  Please link up your project and don't forget to include atleast one cricut cut!

I am in love with this card... she is so stinkin' cute.  I definitely didn't think I would ever need this cartridge--but I apparently did.

Here's my card for today's challenge.  This little cutie is cut from the Pack Your Bags cartridge and the paper is almost all from America Crafts or just somewhere in my stash :)  And I LOVE her little face...seriously sooooo stinkin' cute!  Love me some Peachy Keen Stamps!  The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper.

Swimsuit Contest Entry!

My little bird today is chillin' by the pool!  He's got his inner tube on and his little flippers--he's ready for the waves.  I am entering him in a swimsuit contest...errr I mean a challenge.  Barb at BugBites is having the 2nd part of her grillin' and chillin' challenge and this is what I came up with!  I used all paper and goodies from American Crafts-- it was from a package I picked up at Marshalls a bit ago for just a few dollars.  The little bug is a sticker from my random stash of stickers and part of the challenge was to add a bug/critter we found while on the Bug Hop!  I just received this cartridge and I think I might be in love!!!

Still Thinking Spring!

I am still thinking Spring...the weather here is turning out to be quite nice!  I hope it continues.  So seeing that the weather is so nice and I HAD to pull out my new stamps that I picked up from Peachy Keen this card was what I came up with.  I had made the comment that I needed to really begin to challenge myself and to try some new things-- so I did for this card.  I tried my hand using my Peachy Keen Stamps-- love these little faces!  And the ribbon techinique I used is also new for me--and I kinda like how it looks-- it's fun and easy and makes the card pop.  I am adding my card to the fun challenge I found at Scrapbookaholic By Abby and the challenge was to create anything Springy!  And I think this little chickie screams spring :)
