Hello my crafty friends!  I feel like I have been neglecting my blog hard core!  But there has been a lot happening in all aspects of my life right now!  But hey that's okay I did find a little time to craft today and that was much needed :)  Hope you enjoy my card.  It's a super simple one for today-- I created it using some stickers I was gifted during my amazing crafting retreat and I thought they would be perfect for a card today!

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope this post finds you well today.  I can't believe it's Wednesday... I was hoping it was Friday but I will take Wednesday-- week is half over... work has been super busy and my crafting has been seriously neglected!  However, I did spend the weekend meeting some awesome new women and had a great time crafting with all of them... wow...they are some seriously amazing and talented scrapbookers--wow... I was in awe of their pages-- so detailed and fantastic!

I Guess That's Why....

Hello crafty friends-- I guess today is one of those times when a challenge is really just that...a challenge.   I struggled sooooo much with this challenge and I have NO idea why!  I think perhaps the colors were throwing me off... I like them all...but I don't think I would ever put them all together :)  So stop on over and visit my design team friends at Fresh Brewed Designs for the new challenge.  This challenge is a color challenge---use orange, yellow, pink and 1 more color of your choosing!  I selected black for my highlight color.

I created this card simply....but I did pick up some new white cardstock....oh gracious me I am SOOOO in love with it.  It's soooo thick, luscious and lovely... yes I just described paper!  This adorable sentiment is currently on back order-- but ya never know when it will be back in :)

OWH Blog Hop!

Hello my crafty friends!  I am so glad you are joining me today for World Card Making Day and for the Operation Write Home WCMD Blog Hop!  If you aren't familiar with OWH-- definitely check them out!  It's a fabulous organization and I adore their mission!  The mission is "supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on..." I sure think it's great so I work to do my part to contribute blank handmade cards!!

The theme for this blog hop is to create a wintry card!  I really like how my card turned out... I used one of my all time favorite stamp sets Mistletoe from Bug Bites.  I adore this sentiment and how well it goes with one of my all time favorite Cricut cuts!  The paper I used is from a My Mind's Eye paper pad that I picked up when it was on super clearance!  I love a good deal!  The googly eyes crack me up... I definitely need to find another package of these cuties!  For my card I used OWH Bonus Sketch #12
