A bit early...

Yes, yes I know it's the Christmas season and winter should be my theme...but I just can't bring myself to be excited about holiday cards this year....in fact I might not even send any...yep...there I said it out loud for the world to know.

So I decided I would keep plugging away at a box to send off for Operation Write Home and right now it's Valentine's day time for OWH so I have love on the brain!  I pulled out some Pink By Design stamps and decided to link up this card at Link Up Tuesday PBD.

Guess Whooooooo?

Hello friends!  Hope you're having a great Saturday and you all had a great Thanksgiving on Thursday.  I am working on some card sets for my mom to give as gifts this year and I created 8 sets of cards with 5 in each set.  I tried to do a nice variety for her to give.  I've been using a lot of OWH sketches and really enjoying them a lot!  The inside of this cutie says "thinking of you."

FBD Day 2!


Welcome to Fresh Brewed Designs LAST rubber stamp release and blog hop for 2012!

selfless time of year. This release reflects some of those things. Hannah Belle brings in the
joy of baking, cooking, sharing times with our kids, laughing, making messes, and lots of smiling. 
Our Love Bird Owls draw us closer together. Keeping warm together on a cool night. 
Sharing our hearts with those around us. 

For my project I chose to create using the new stamp Hannah Belle!  Isn't she adorable!  I love her little tongue sticking out--too cute!

Thanks a Latte!

I am working on some cards to get sent off to my lovely shipper Kris for Operation Write Home.  This week's mid-week throw down is a Thank You card challenge!

So I pulled out an old stamp from Amuse that I love and inked up one of my favorite stamps sets from CardzTV Stamps!  I adore this stamp set from Mary!  She's super :)  I'm debating if I should have matted the cup a bit differently... I still have a few cards left to put together so I might change up my design a bit this weekend when I can get back to my crafts!

Mmmmm coffee!

So if I could I would definitely drink a cup of coffee this big... it would of course need to have some great creamer and be a self warming cup...but well anyway you catch my drift :)  I decided that I had NOT been crafting enough and decided that I should probably get in some challenges today.  I have been missing all of the fun over at The Hambo Hoedown Challenge Blog and decided that I best be joining them today!  I definitely need to add the super cute toaster image to my collection one of these days but decided on using Coffee Girl today-- isn't she stinkin' cute?!?!  I sure think so!  The challenge was to use gingham so I pulled out this sheet of paper and got busy!

The sketch I used is from Operation Write Home and I think this card will be perfect for someone to send home to a coffee lover :)  I know I'd love to see this cutie in my mailbox!  And I promise...in real life the greens match much better than this photo!  Sorry about the picture!
