Hey everyone!  Welcome to the awesomeness that is a bloghop on World Cardmaking Day!  and I am celebrating it with my favorite friends at Operation Write Home!!!
New to OWH? You’ll want to visit our WELCOME page after hopping
but before getting started making cards…there’s lots of great info for you!

The hop starts here

The theme for the hop cards this weekend is THANK YOU CARDS!!! – and all are using card sketches! OWH has an amazing sketch collection!  My card was created using Sketch #187 love the sketch and LOVE that it was created by my now real life crafty friend Jen!  We had the chance to meet up and hang out for the day at Scrapfest-- she's amazing!   I will be creating a bunch more of these to send for Heros to send home as well as creating some for my friend J to send off to her husband B who is serving Army!  Sending hugs to her and her family!

And if you've made it this far in my post!  Please leave a comment telling me your favorite part of Operation Write Home!  I will pick a name from all of the comments Weds. Oct 9th and announce a winner on the 10th!  So leave a comment and you could win some BLOG CANDY!!!!

Such a great card for the soldiers and for your friend to save. The thing I love most about Operation Write Home is all the inspiration that they provide to us in the way of sketches, tutorials, blog hops, Sandy's videos. I'm a better crafter because of OWH.

Love your card. It's stunning. What I love most about OWH is that now someone gets to enjoy my cards rather than me hording them away in a shoebox. I also love how happy it makes our heroes. There will be some grinning when they see your wonderful card.

My favorite part of the OWH is the generosity of all of the crafter's who spend time and effort to support our troops with a great way to reach out to their families. Beautiful card.

Very cute card. My favorite part is the point of the operation. It gives the soldiers a way to stay in touch with their families. Send them cards for special reasons. It's a special thing to be apart of.

I love how you left the flag uncolored! My favorite part of OWH is knowing that I helped someone reach out to someone they love while they are so far from home.

Very cute card! My favorite part of OWH is that it's a win-win-win. We get to share a craft we love, deployed troops get to know we're thinking of them, and families back home get a tangible reminder of their hero. Happy WCMD!
