Singin' In The Rain!

Happy Monday everyone!  It's my design day over at Ginger Snap Scraps and the theme for today is to create a card based on a movie or a song...well I decided to kill two birds with one stone :)  So I have created Ms. Hello Kitty Singing In the Rain... so both a song and a movie!  I love this song and the movie/musical is fantastic!

Snow Time!

Whoa... okay so Mary over at Cardz TV is amazing.  She has been cutting out Hello Kitty like a mad woman and I am loving learning so much from her.  I tried out her new lesson of using the "silhouette" feature on the Hello Kitty cartridge and well...let's just say I think she makes it seem super easy...BUT wowza I still kinda stink at putting these little cuties together.  It does go together like a puzzle and it's easy but if you don't cut things bit enough...ummmm well it's a bit tricky to say the very least!  So I only cursed a bit but will have another Hello Kitty card for you on Monday-- so definitely stop on back--I had a revelation with that one and it made things soooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier :)

Sorry it's so super plain but I ran out of creating time due to my lack of skills in assembly :)

The Details!
Cut: Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge
Paper: SU! and Walmart Black
Sentiment from Bug Bites 411
And stickles...oh so many stickles-- this will definitely not be headed to my OWH friends!

Call Me...Maybe?!?

Today at Ginger Snap Scraps it's all about La La Land stamps!  Check out this cutie on the phone...doesn't she make you wanna call your girlfriend to gab :)  Enjoy!

Sweet Summertime Wishes!

Hello friends!  Happy 4th of July!  I hope you're enjoying your day.  I am spending some time with some of my favorites today and loving it!  I am having a blast with my little friends Lexi and Aubbs--they are so sweet and adorable!  As your read this we're probably having a blast in the bounce castle--it's okay to be totally jealous :)

But alas it's time to show you a brand spankin' new digital stamp that is available from the awesome Heather over at Fresh Brewed Designs---Lord knows I didn't need another stamp line to fall in love with but... well it's a little too late I'm head over heels in love with this line!  I know that today Heather is releasing some other new stamps and is having a new challenge with a beach theme--so I thought this card was perfect!

Enough rambling from me-- Happy 4th Everyone!

Summa Time!

It's summer...there's no longer a question or doubt in my mind.  It's warm...but alas enough of the weather talk.  Time to get into this card :)  Today it's my design day with my friends over at Ginger Snap Scraps and we are showcasing some awesome inks!  Those inks being the Tim Holtz Summer Distress Inks and boy oh boy are these some awesome colors!  I decided to do things a bit differently and show another awesome use for these distress inks-- I did some water coloring.  All of my girl is done with various distress inks!  Her hair and body are done with other colors versus the summer distress inks-- but even for her hat I mixed the colors for that purple shade. Have a wonderful Tuesday!  Try to stay cool :)
