I'm Not Lion....

Hehe I'm not Lion....I'm soooo funny!  haha well okay I think I'm funny!  Today is my design day with my friends at Eureka Stamps and this is the card I created for today! I created this fun card using Baby Lion and in the inside you will find Speedy Recovery-- however, I don't have a picture of the inside as it turned out horrible!  Sorry about that friends.

I have been using my embossing folders like crazy and today is no different.  I can't even remember the name of this one-- I am kicking myself as I wish I would have labeled my embossing folders right as I took them out of the packages.  Maybe some day when I am bored with nothing in mind to craft I will organize some of my crafting goodies.  The lion is colored using Copics.

Wishing You A Speedy Recovery!

Hello Everyone!  Today it's my design day at  Eureka Stamps and I am so glad you are here to visit me again today! :)  I created today's card using  Running Turtle and Speedy Recovery  and I love these digis!  They are awesome.  What a great image and sentiment for an awesome get well card.  I colored this card using my Copic markers-- I feeling more and more comfortable using them each day-- you will see I have been using a lot of the same colors-- I feel some colors are easier to work with than others.  I would love to be able to do a Copic certification one of these days!  Maybe some day!

I pulled out some of my nesties for the circles and used one of my embossing folders for the green paper-- this one I mean for it to look like the turtle shell--does it look sorta kinda like that?

Any Hero Mail Needed !

Hello there my blogging friends!  I know many of you have heard me talk a lot about Operation Write Home and what an awesome organization I feel they are!  Well... my friends you too could be a part of OWH...there are lots of different ways to participate.  But that's enough of my soap box... if you don't know about OWH--you should check it out!

Every Wednesday at OWH Stars and Stamps they present us with a challenge!  And the challenge this week is awesome.. I will admit I have sent cards to OWH but my packages have been lacking in Any Hero Mail (These are cards and letters (or, with kids they can be coloring pages) from people across America with messages of gratitude and encouragement inside. We call them “AnyHero” letters because they’re going to be given out by our contacts to those who get little or no mail. If they were “Any Soldier” they would have to go to the Army, so we keep away from branch-specific language.)

So I hope you can find some time to create and send in some Any Hero Mail-- I'd be happy to collect cards here and send them in for you!  But anyway that's enough rambling for me!  Now onto the card!  The image is from Eureka Rubber Stamps and the digi is only $2.00...yep less than a cup of coffee!  And this cutie is also available as a rubber stamp.  I think this stamp will be perfect for some Any Hero Mail :)
