Jen and Sarah's Challenge #2!

As some of you might remember it's time for the second challenge with my awesome friend Jen!  We each a picking a challenge for the month and this challenge is from Jen.  She challenge me to spend some time cleaning/organizing my craft space-- well I am in the process of moving so this was a needed challenge for me!  I had to make a card with something I forgot about... maybe I might even consider this some thing I may have misplaced...hmmm more like bought and forgot--shhhhh don't tell!

I can't stop laughing....

Okay seriously crafty friends... I can't stop laughing... in fact my tummy hurts because I find this so punny!  Haha for those of you who know me in real life know I don't cook... or maybe I should say I can't really cook.  I can bake but cooking... well does boiling water count? Cause that's about all I can do :)  So when I say this Peanut Butter and Jelly cut from Miss Kate Cuttables I knew I had to have it!  I did alter the bread pieces a bit just to add the saying in the inside of the card!  Hope you enjoy it!

Hello crafty friends!  I am working on some more cards for my OWH box and found this great cut from SVG Cutting Files and it works perfectly with this sentiment from Jaded Blossom Stamps.  I really struggled with the latest sketch from Operation Write Home and I ended up creating a second card using some of the scraps lying on my craft table!    Any awesome suggestions for creating salt on my pretzel for the future?

Hello my crafty friends!  Hope you're all doing well today.  I had some free time tonight so I decided to do some die cutting and whipped up half a dozen of these cards for my OWH box!  I have been neglecting the challenges and knew today was the midweek throwdown...but I'm just not ready for Easter yet so I went back to the Design Boot Camp from Monday and I decided to try my hand at a monochromatic card...yikes... I had to triple check my spelling on that!

Hello my crafty friends!  I wish I had more time this week to craft but things have been super busy and I've been super tired!  Work is crazy! But keeps me on my toes that's for sure!  I have a great card to share with you today using an adorable image from Fresh Brewed Designs she is the adorable Cutie Pie Honey Bee!  Adorbs right?! I of course had to use my great cuttlebug folder for the honey comb background!  Enjoy!

For my post today, I chose to feature the new stamp She Loves Lattes!!

Our stamps have gone through a little transformation this year. 

They are STILL on the DEEPLY ETCHED, thick, gorgeous, made in the USA

red rubber ... but in designing the layout we took special care in making sure that we left

a lot more room between the images. This means you get a cleaner looking cut out and have more room

to trim around your stamp! We have added SENTIMENTS to some of our stamps this year! 

AND Our packing for the NEW stamps have changed as well:

So I've been trying to focus on some kid's cards for my Operation Write Home box and I tried my hand at creating some legos... hmmm what do you think friends?  Do they look like legos?  I get that I am super critical of my cards but I think they pass as legos??!? No? Yes? :)

I'm So Lucky!

Ah so many things to be happy and excited about...well maybe not the cold weather :)  But I am so lucky to have found an awesome crafting friend her name is Jen and she can be found at the amazing blog: Sparkle Within Jen and I decided to pair up and do some creating challenges through out the year to step up our crafting!  I'm so lucky so decided to craft with me-- she's super stinkin' creative!  This idea stemmed from a shout out from our crafty friend and president of Operation Write Home Sandy!  So we thought what the heck-- let's give this challenge a go!

Simple Love

I just couldn't resist this image from Silhouette America and the best part....it's the freebie this week!  Hello!  I love me some free images.  It's also helping me stick with my use it up before getting new... I know, I know I'm only 8 days in but I seriously wanna shop til I drop for craft goodies--but I am trying to be good!  Yikes!  But alas I figured it was time to start working on some Valentine's day cards so I created a simple love card. I will likely send this one off to Operation Write Home as it just has a good love feel and I think someone would enjoy receiving it!  The love stamp is from Cardz TV Stamps Encouraging Thoughts.

You're A Real Life Saver!

Hello my crafty friends!  My New Year is off to a good start-- hope yours is as well!  I am still in love with my newest stamp set from my friend Barb at BugBites and I know you want to stop over and purchase it as well!  I had to create this card with this great sentiment....seriously this is my favorite card I have created in a really long time... I shall go as far as to say my favorite of the year ;)

Oh baby....yes candy does speak....it often screams at me to eat it :)  If you haven't been by Barb's blog at Bugbites 411 you are soooooo missing out!  You need to see the new stamp set she just released!  It's adorable!  Pick it up-- it's at a great price for all those stamps! Love it!
