Arrrrrrrrr....

Yay a new stamp set arrived from Unity Stamp Co. they were having a super great sale so of course I had to place a small order.  I can definitely say I wasn't disappointed when my goodies arrived :)

I needed to whip up a birthday card and I knew this stamp would work perfect for this card.  I had been thinking about using this Cricut cut and I like how it turned out.  I found a new blog that offers some great challenges so I decided to create a scene in order to make my card fit for the fun challenge with Ashley at Welch Creations.  I found this great blog through my friend Barb.  You'll definitely want to check out her blog-- she is super talented and I LOVE her creations!

Wicked Best Witches!

Hello Thursday...which means Friday is right around the corner.  I am hoping it's a quiet weekend that will lead into a busy few next weeks-- I think perhaps I shouldn't wish too hard for it to be quiet and that might backfire.  I hope you 've been enjoying my posts to help celebrate the release of my friend Barbs Bugbites Stamps!  Don't forget to stop by her blog--today is Day 4 in the sneak peaks of her stamps!  I just know you will need to have these stamps to add to your collection!

For my project today I have used the Wrap It Up cartridge for almost all of my card!  And the "Wicked Best Witches" sentiment is from BugBites!!!

Apple of My Eye!

It's Monday and that means it's time for another Fantabulous Cricut Challenge!  Visit the FCCB Blog! to check out Challenge #59!  Today's challenge is a "Teacher Feature" and we are hoping you will make a project for that special teach with the color red on it!  Don't forget to use atleast one cricut cut in your submitted project!

Ahhh I feel like I have been away from the crafting world for way tooo long!  It's been days since I've picked up some ink and paper.  Work has been insane and for the next few weeks I'm sure it will continue to be so.  For this project I used the Wrap It Up cartridge--I really enjoy this cartridge and I hope to find some more time to play with it.  I also used some lined paper I had in my stash-- I wish I could remember who it is from...I remember when I purchased it I picked up some paper that had clothes on a line with it-- but I can't recall the brand!  I also used my SU spiral punch...I really have been loving that punch lately.  I am working on using it to cover a jouranal--once I'm done I'll post it.

I hope you enjoy my project today!  Don't forget we'd love to have you join our challenge this week :)

Hello Baby!

Tonights card will soon be on its way to Kansas.  My friend EJ (who is an awesome follower of this blog) a friend from college just had a little boy today!  I hope she's resting and not trying to keep her blog and the blogs she follows up to date :)

I do enjoy how this little guy turned out-- however, as I am making cards and I am trying super duper hard to use up my scraps I have noticed that many of my cards are starting to all look alike-- perhaps I will have to take the plunge and cut into some new paper...hmmm we'll see I guess!

So I cut the little stork out from my new Gypsy--wowzers--that is quite the device let me tell you!  I kinda love it!  So I'm not sure what size I actually cut him out at nor the layers as I just set it to fit the size scraps I had lying around.  But wow...again the Gypsy rocks my socks off!  Thanks hubby!  I will also be adding this card to challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion.  The theme for the challenge is "New Arrival" and I think my stork is perfect!
