Another Chicken!

So I just couldn't put the chicken away.  I decided to stamp her just one more time and decided NOT to flock her-- shocking I know!  But I think it turned out great.  A very simple card.  I had to have the designer paper with the animals on it-- soooo super cute!  I will have to go back and see if I can figure out what company that great paper is from-- I had just picked it up at my local craft store.

I used some more punches in this card and I really enjoy using my punches. I did also add some crystal effects to the different parts of the chicken-- as you can see in the bottom photo I tried to show some of the crystal details.

I think it might be lacking just a little something... but I don't know what that little something is??  Suggestions are welcome-- perhaps I will just hold off and add a sentiment when I send this little cutie off in the mail.

Valentine's Day Box

Ahhhh I'm so sad the weekend is coming to a close!  But I was able to play a little bit today and I decided to create a small little box using my SU! matchbox die.  I used some random papers I had lying around and placed some chocolate nuggets inside.  I covered the nuggets with white address labels--super easy peasy and cut out matching little hearts with a small heart punch.  A cute little Valentine treat!

Recipe:
Matchbox die from SU!
Pink and white paper from a DCWV paperstack
Punches: SU! mini heart and label
Also used white address labels!

Just Chicken In

Hi there just "chicken" in....hilarious if you ask me.  Today I stopped at a new stamp store I'd never been to before and picked up some yellow flocking and this cute little chicken stamp along with a couple of other goodies I most certainly probably didn't need--but spent less than $20 so I was quite pleased with myself.  I have been dying to use my new MPS Even More Punnylicious set but couldn't find the right chicken to use, but I think this one shall have to do!

I also stopped by the lovely and talented ladies at http://www.stamping411.blogspot.com/ and decided to again play with the great sketch they have posted for their Saturday Sketch Challenge.

Flocking Obsessed!

Oh dear I hate to admit it but I am officially obsessed with flocking...seriously I better hide my flocking and my Create-A-Critter Cartridge because clearly I just can't stop using either one.  I am in love with this little monkey--heck I know I say that about all of the little critters I cut with that cutie cartridge.  For this card I aslo used my cuttlebug again and I must say I love that little machine--it adds soooo much without any work at all.  Ugh please ignore the not clean edges it's clearly time for me to replace the blade on my trusty old cutter.

Card Recipe:
Cricut Cartridge: Create-A-Critter for monkey, vine and banana
Punch: circle punches from SU!
Flocking: Stampendous is the brand.
Paper: All SU!

You're A Deer!

Hey everybody!  I hope you're doing well tonight.  Thanks for stopping by.  I needed to make a thank you card for my friend Jackie who is my super duper SU! demo and I just placed a sweet order with her so I wanted to send her a little card to say thanks!  So, I decided to take some time to play with the Wacky Wednesday Color Challenge that was posted by Paula at www.morethanfavors.blogspot.com  The challenge this week was to use brown, pink and green!  So of course I had to use my Create-A-Critter yet again to create this card.

Card Recipe:
Paper: Stampin' Up for all of the paper

Tonight I decided to take some time to play with my Cricut yet again and decided that I just couldn't put my Create-A-Critter to rest just yet.  As I was surfing I noticed a Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge at http://www.twoscraptasticgals.blogspot.com/ Part of the challenge was to use your Create-A-Critter Cartridge--so of course I decided I MUST play!

Check back later tonight or tomorrow as I will be doing yet another challenge with this cartridge!

I LOVE this little cow and I have created this card many times but realized I had not yet posted one of these cutie cows on my blog!  So here she is!  I think she's moo-velous!

Get Well Soon!

Tonight I made a card for a woman I work with who is home recovering from surgery.  I am hoping this little pig brings a smile to her face.  I decided to let my Cricut rest a little--shocking I know!  But I wanted to do a little water coloring-- clearly I am a little rusty as I can't remember the last time I picked up my aqua painters, but it didn't turn out too bad.    I hope you enjoy it as much as I hope the receiver does :)  Sorry for the crappy picture--one of these days I will figure out my photography!  Have a lovely evening!

New Cartridge + New Shoes = Happy Sarah!

Ahhhh new shoes... actually a new cartridge.  Last night I decided I "needed" a new cartridge and Forever Young was on sale at my favorite craft store in the whole wide world so I stopped out and picked up this little cutie!  So there are tons of imagines and such on this cartridge but these little shoes called to me.  Awhile back I was doing some surfing and saw these shoes on www.madebymomo.blogspot.com and her card was the inspiration for these great shoes.  I knew I had a Stampin' Up! set in my collection with this saying that I thought would go perfectly with these shoes...and I think it did if I do say so myself!  I will definitely be back with some of the great purses that are on this cartridge.. I think I might need a purse to go with these shoes! ;)

A New Home

Today I created a little card for a friend who just moved into a new home.  Brrrrr moving in MN in the cold winter isn't my idea of excitement...but then again packing to move isn't all that appealing to me anytime.

For this cutie I used my cricut Wild Card Cartridge.  The house, envelope and layers were all cut at 5.5 in.  I used some Very Vanilla cardstock from SU! for the base, the polka dot DSP I unfortunately have NO clue who that is from--I cut up some of my 12x12 DSP into 6x6 pieces and unfortunately didn't keep track of what was what!  And the blue paper is from a Recollections package I believe--as it doesn't feel like SU!.  I also used two different sized silver brads.  Enjoy!

Valentine's Day Gumball Machine: Another Saturday Sketch Challenge!

Ahhhhhh so I have some amazing news I was selected to be part of the Stamping 411 Stampers Showcase! Whoot!  I was so delighted to see that I received this super sweet honor.   I decided to again play with the Operators at http://www.stamping411.blogspot.com/ for the Saturday Sketch Challenge #186.  I didn't use my Create-A-Critter Cartridge today!

Today for my card all of the cardstock including the DSP is from Stampin' Up.  The adorable gumball machine rubber stamp is from Amuse.  I actually colored the gumball machine using a red sharpie marker, a silver no name glitter pen I had in one of my drawers and the little heart is a small stick on rhinestone that I also colored with the same red sharpie.  The button was in my stash from who knows where and I threaded the button with a small red heart brad.  I also used a white ink pad to ink the edges of all pieces of the cardstock--I'm still not sure I love the way that looks with the white!

I hope you enjoy tonight's card!

My take on A Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge

While surfing the internet today I re-stumbled upon the lovely and talented Stamping 411 Operators at http://stamping411.blogspot.com/  I decided to take some time out of my day and create a card for the Saturday Sketch Challenge #185.  I took some creative license in placing my sentiment which is from a new set again from My Pink Stamper--love those stamps!  The tree was cut from the cricut using the Create-A-Critter catridge.  I think it's time I put that baby towards the back of the shelf and show some love to my other carts.  The solid color paper is Stampin' Up and the background paper is from a Die-Cuts-With-A-View stack--sorry I can't remember the name of that particular stack right now.  Enjoy!

Eeeeeeeek A Mouse!!!

So I'm still addicted to and loving my Create-A-Critter cartridge.  While I was out shopping the other day I found yet another set of stamps from My Pink Stamper that I absolutely had to have!  "Have A Mice Day!" is from that set...wow...who on earth would have thought a mouse could be so gosh darn adorable!  I cut it out in the various colored layers and added some gray flocking to the gray layer--I just love how it turned out.  I used two mini brad that I picked up at Michaels the other day--I love how tiny they are!  So cute!  Enjoy my card and "Have a Mice Day!"

My Pink Stamper Design Team Challenge and Submission

I am dying to be part of a design team so I decided...what the heck I might as well try!  I have long admired the works of Robyn at http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ --She's sooooo fabulous and I love her work and admire her creativity and spunk!  So I have decided to take the plunge and submit my card for her design team!  Oh what an honor that would be :-)

Robyn put forth the challenge to make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project using my favorite cartridge and her favorite colors, pink green and brown!

Recipe:  As you can see I pulled out the cricut and created a super cute beaver using the "Create A Critter" cartridge (that cartridge has helped me find a new love...or a true love for my Cricut!)  I also used chocolate chip, close to cocoa, regal rose, whisper white, very vanilla and old olive cardstock all from Stampin' Up.  The cute sentiment is from "My Pink Stamper" and is called "Punny-licious"--a MUST HAVE if you love the "Create a Critter" cartridge!  The ribbon is also grosgrain ribbon in Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose and Old Olive also from Stampin' Up!  I also used 2 circle punches and the scallop circle punch from SU!  The cute embossed paper in the green color is from a Die-Cuts-With-A-View stack -The Guy Collection.  The small gemstone flower is unknown.

Thank you so much for taking a peek!  Wish me luck!

Ahhhhhh a new toothbrush!

Sometimes there is nothing better then a fresh new toothbrush!  A couple of days ago I cracked open a new manual toothbrush...only to remember that soon in my hot little hands I will be the proud owner of a new Soniccare toothbrush--wow!  As you can tell I'm a little excited.  So I took a little time to create a card for my bff's sister who is sending me the new brush!

The toothbrush is a cricut diecut from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge, the stamp is from SU! as is the orange paper, the striped paper I believe is DCWV!

Enjoy!  Sorry for the non-quality photo--I'm working on that!!

New Beginnings...

Ah the new year is finally upon us and now begins the talk of New Years Resolutions-- ahhhh the time when I wonder what new diet shall I try or geesh I really should begin exercising-- all in good time.  However, I have decided  it is time for me to take some time to create a blog that revolves around my love of all things crafting... rubber stamps...paper...adhesive...oh I just love it all!  My hope is to find some time each week to post about what I have been crafting!  Enjoy!
