You Are The Salt....

Hello crafty friends!  I am working on some more cards for my OWH box and found this great cut from SVG Cutting Files and it works perfectly with this sentiment from Jaded Blossom Stamps.  I really struggled with the latest sketch from Operation Write Home and I ended up creating a second card using some of the scraps lying on my craft table!    Any awesome suggestions for creating salt on my pretzel for the future?

This is really a clever and cute idea! How about sprinkling on some real coarse salt? :) It might not work for OWH, but for a hand delivered card, it might be cute :)

I love the papers you used-(is the plaid from the hooked on fishing pad?) and the pretzel is great! I do not have any other ideas for salt-I like what you used- is it a pearl pen? Both cards are great- I need to make a card right away with my scraps- good idea! The sentiment is awesome too! Thanks for sharing- and I feel like I am following you all over blogland... I am leaving comments right after yours for about the past 5-6 sites I have visited! lol

Great cards Sarah! Very unique and I think perfect 'guy' cards. You know they can relate to food! (ha) I think that these will be popular cards.
Perhaps you could make/find a cut file of a salt shaker and make a smaller pretzel ... maybe with the salt shaker sprinkling the salt onto the pretzel.

This is really cute, sarah! Do you have any sprinkles stamps (for cones or cupcakes)? My thought was to use something like that in white...

That's an adorable sentiment, Sarah. The availability of unique stamps never ceases to amaze me. If you have a Versamark pen, you could draw some salt and use white embossing powder to give it texture.

I like it the way it is for mailing (love the plaid)...some great ideas are shared...you could glue those crazy micro beads beads on. What do you use to cut SVG files with? Your cricut? There is someone who shares great free svg files for cutting but I am not supe tech savy to figure our how to hook my computer up to my cricut. Any help you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Super cute cards Sarah. Love you take on this week's sketch and how you found a SVG to go with that sentiment. Cute. Great colors and use of the pearl pen. Thanks for playing this week!
